A semi which appeared to have been going westbound on Highway 23 failed to negotiate the roundabout at Wisconsin American Drive on Fond du Lac's east side just before midnight, Wednesday, May 10, 2023. The semi tipped on to its side, injuring the driver. ThedaStar Medical Helicopter met Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue ambulance at SSM St. Agnes Hospital. As of 12:40 AM the highway is shut down. A State Patrol Inspector is on the way. Assisting Fond du Lac Police was the Fond du Lac Sheriff's Office.
