A semi took the roundabout at Highway 23 and Wisconsin American Drive too fast and tipped last night snarling traffic at the intersection for hours while crews cleaned it up. Just before midnight, a call came into the Fond du Lac County Communications Center saying that a westbound semi was tipped on its side on the north side of the roundabout. First officers on the scene stated the driver was uninjured and the semi was hauling corn. Lanes were either restricted or completely closed at times while Whealon Heavy Duty tow trucks removed the cab and trailer.
