The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is advising the motoring public of Fond du Lac County that the Wisconsin State Patrol will be conducting aerial speed enforcement on I-41 Wednesday, September 20, 2023. The DOT says aerial enforcement is one way the state patrol can enhance public safety efforts. They say from the air it's easier to spot drivers who are speeding or driving aggressively. When a pilot observes a violation, they will communicate with ground-based units to initiate a traffic stop.
