FOND DU LAC — Over the last few years, Fond du Lac has celebrated several redevelopments, but what's left to look out for? Recent wins for the city's vacant areas include the Shopko redevelopment, Harbor Freight Tools occupying the former Best Buy last year and Bank First announcing its upcoming location at the former Firestone Auto Care lot in August. The Home Depot lot, after 15 years of vacancy, was recently renamed to Corta Commons at Forest Plaza with plans to split the building into five spaces, available for lease under Mid-America Real Estate-Wisconsin LLC.
